Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) had a meeting with Georgian Energy Development Fund (GEDF) with the participation of Deputy Director of the AREA Kamran Huseynov and Director of the GEDF Jaba Khmaladze.

Deputy Director of AREA Kamran Huseynov gave information about the activities of the State Agency, the attraction of investors within the framework of public-private partnership, cooperation with foreign and local companies, existing and future projects, connection of green energy powers to the grid, opportunities for export of green energy. The counterparty informed about the Fund's participation in projects in Georgia within the framework of public-private partnership, and activities of producers and buyers in green energy supply.

During the meeting, possible opportunities for cooperation between the countries in the field of renewable energy were reviewed, mutual knowledge and experience exchange on attracting investors to the relevant field, and issues arising from existing cooperation within the framework of the "Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor" project were discussed.
